New Bible Studies at RMCC!

RMCC will be holding 3 bible studies for Advent!

Advent (from the Latin word adventus meaning "coming") is a season observed in many Western Christian churches, a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the Nativity of Jesus at Christmas. It is the beginning of the Western liturgical year and commences on Advent Sunday, November 28, 2010.

Along with the new church year, RMCC will be holding new bible studies to walk through this 4 week season of Advent.

The first one will kick off our Adult Bible Study led by Karen Tompkins.

This study begins on Sunday morning, November 28, 2010 at 9:00 downstairs in our fellowship hall.

Evening bible study groups led by Pastor Steph will be held on:

Tuesday nights from November 30th – December 21st at the church from 6:45PM – 8:45 PM and;

Wednesday nights from November 31st – December 22nd at 4032 Woodland Creek Dr. SE, Apt 102 in Kentwood MI. from 6:30PM – 8:30PM

The Tuesday and Wednesday night groups will journey through Advent with the book “The Shepherds Prayer”: A Christmas Novel by Richard M. Barry. If you purchase this book through, please remember to search for it on our blog as this is a continuous fundraiser for RMCC and we could receive up to 15% for every order placed.

All are welcome and invited to attend any group or a combination of Sunday and evening studies.
